To use the VW classic parts search you will need the ORIGINAL VW PART NUMBER.
If you do not have the original number then please email us with your enquiry.

Heritage Parts Centre has been the UK Partner for Volkswagen Classic Parts since 2011. Handpicked for our expert level of knowledge surrounding older and classic VW models, we can help you source the hard to find and obsolete VW parts that you need to keep your car or camper on the road.

When a new vehicle is launched, the manufacturer must keep the parts readily available for owners for at least 10 years, after this time these genuine VW parts may become discontinued and are shelved in large warehouses until a customer needs them. Our partnership with VW Classic Parts gives us direct access to more than 60,000 discontinued VW parts, helping enthusiasts and workshops maintain and repair the vehicles they love.

Our team of technical experts are on hand to help you identify and reference the correct replacement VW parts for your vehicle. Every genuine Volkswagen part should be stamped with a part number; these are typically 9 digits long and may have a letter on the end. The part number, along with your vehicle chassis number will make finding the new genuine VW parts a much simpler process.

From genuine VW body panels to electrical components, chassis and brake parts or specific interior trim, VW Classic Parts can offer a wealth of obsolete Volkswagen parts that you would never expect to be able to source.

How to order your VW Classic Parts

In order to make this process as simple as possible please follow these steps:

Step 1

If you have the part you are wishing to replace please check on it for the VW part number. This is likely to be a 9 digit number, perhaps with a letter or two on the end. It could be printed onto or cast into the part.

If you have previously enquired through a VW dealer you may have been given this number. It will improve your chances of us sourcing a new one for you. Simply type that number into the box at the top of this page and our system will check the VW Classic Parts database for available stock.

Please be cautious of ordering a part number that isn't an exact match, for example if it has an A on the end instead of a G, it is unlikely to be suitable for your vehicle and as a special order item it is non returnable*. See our Terms and Conditions.

Step 2

If you don't have the old part available, or a VW part number for it please email our team with your enquiry and they will be happy to assist.

Order process and delivery times

Once we have received your order online we will submit the parts request with VW Classic Parts in Germany. On average these orders take 6-8 weeks to come from their warehouses to us and then shipped to your chosen address.

In some instances, if a part is held in a more remote warehouse this lead time could be longer, sadly we can't predict this at present at time of ordering.

Because of the rarity and size of some of the parts offered by VW Classic Parts we are unable to order items "just for checking" and any parts that are ordered are "strictly special order" and subsequently non-returnable unless faulty or damaged. We do require a payment in advance on all special order parts.
